"Don’t say it’s a “shared” hot tub when there’s no other way into the backyard from this guesthouse. The hosts has a whole system of their Renjoy company set up as a 3rd party. They have their own 3rd party Renjoy website sent to you once it’s near the day of check in; info & rules of the house and stuff on there. "This is a very clean, very well equipped, and beautifully decorated basement walkout apartment. We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting, just minutes from amenities, and a short drive from Pike's Peak. "Had an excellent stay. Unit was very clean and nicely decorated. We were looking for a place that was close to Colorado Springs but wanted something that had a more rural feel and this unit did the trick. Although unit is located behind the owners house in a sub division, all the houses sit on a couple of acres so it feels like you are in a more remote area, especially with the mountains right behind. "I had the pleasure of spending the Christmas holidays at Black Bear Chateu in Colorado Springs. The home was beautiful and my host, Mary Louise, had decorated my home with Christmas lights and decorations which made me feel right at home. The property has everything you could ask for including bedroom, kitchen, televisions in the living room and bedroom and deer and turkeys that visited every morning. There are also many games and books plus a foosball table to keep the youngsters entertained. ...

"What a wonderful stay. The place was truly beautiful and so peaceful. "

"My wife and I loved our stay. We have been in many VRBO’s and this was the most well thought out place we’ve stayed. It was wonderful to have so many different outdoor spaces to relax and when it started snowing, it was nice to sit in front of the floor to ceiling windows, drink coffee, and watch the snow come down. The home is very well equipped and it is located near everything v. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay here again."

"My husband and I stayed here for our CO adventure vacation. We loved it! It was so clean and the decor was fun and very comfortable. We will stay here again for sure! "

"We needed a place with a great yard for our dogs and this fit the bill. The views of Pikes Peak and garden of the gods are amazing! The house was clean; however many of the dishes were dirty and toaster oven hadn’t been cleaned out. This is a hazard of having guests do their own dishes upon departure that we’ve noticed in other rentals as well. We’re accustomed to washing everything we use before using it so no big deal to us. We would stay again, the owner is very responsive to any request."

"Nice cabin a bit far but exactly what we were looking for our winter stay. Snow storm before we got there, and another while in the cabin. Nice and cozy, but wished had a fire place or a working/accessible fire stove.That said, do recommend based on what you want."

"The property is quaint and cozy with beautiful views and evidence of wildlife galore. The personality of the cabin is charming, and the amenities plentiful. Additionally the cabin is within minutes of local businesses, restaurants, and breweries.Robin was a wonderful host - we stayed during an unusual and brutally cold weather pattern and Robin went out of the way to make sure we were safe and enjoying our time. It was a simply amazing experience and we can’t wait to return!"
