"A weekend away spent up the hill from a few of our favorite places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the incline/barr trail. "Don’t say it’s a “shared” hot tub when there’s no other way into the backyard from this guesthouse. The hosts has a whole system of their Renjoy company set up as a 3rd party. They have their own 3rd party Renjoy website sent to you once it’s near the day of check in; info & rules of the house and stuff on there. "This is a very clean, very well equipped, and beautifully decorated basement walkout apartment. We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting, just minutes from amenities, and a short drive from Pike's Peak. "I had the pleasure of spending the Christmas holidays at Black Bear Chateu in Colorado Springs. The home was beautiful and my host, Mary Louise, had decorated my home with Christmas lights and decorations which made me feel right at home. The property has everything you could ask for including bedroom, kitchen, televisions in the living room and bedroom and deer and turkeys that visited every morning. There are also many games and books plus a foosball table to keep the youngsters entertained. ...

"My wife and I loved our stay. We have been in many VRBO’s and this was the most well thought out place we’ve stayed. It was wonderful to have so many different outdoor spaces to relax and when it started snowing, it was nice to sit in front of the floor to ceiling windows, drink coffee, and watch the snow come down. The home is very well equipped and it is located near everything v. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay here again."

"My husband and I stayed here for our CO adventure vacation. We loved it! It was so clean and the decor was fun and very comfortable. We will stay here again for sure! "

"We needed a place with a great yard for our dogs and this fit the bill. The views of Pikes Peak and garden of the gods are amazing! The house was clean; however many of the dishes were dirty and toaster oven hadn’t been cleaned out. This is a hazard of having guests do their own dishes upon departure that we’ve noticed in other rentals as well. We’re accustomed to washing everything we use before using it so no big deal to us. We would stay again, the owner is very responsive to any request."

"Great little cabin in a very private location. Enjoyed the views, especially the stars at night from the hot tub. Use Google Maps to get there. We used Apple Maps to go in and it took us on a needless 20-minute route. Once we saw where we were it was easy to get out to the highway in just a few minutes. Overall, a good place for a couple or small family to get away."

Highly recommend the Academy Hotel

"We came in from Texas. The outside looked a little outdated, but once we walked in, the front staff was very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. The courtyard looked like the pictures that were online. It feels real, homie. The pool was well-maintained and clean, and towels were provided. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The cleaning staff was great. They were very attentive and friendly. The complementary breakfast was great, the in-house restaurant was amazing and so was the service. The front desk clerks were amazing. They provided us with information about their local entertainment and attractions. What a great value. We would stay again when we are in the area. It is centrally located to everything."

Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Hotels

"I booked this property although there were some bad reviews. After the stay, I was glad we decided to stay here. It is a charming resort with nice facilities and pools. The room was spacious, the staff was helpful and friendly. The brekfast options were amazing and in a restaurant with beautiful views. The lady who served us remembered us every morning and knew exactly what we like. We would come back here any time..."

"The Front Desk staff and shuttle driver was very nice and helpful. The only reason the hotel didn’t receive 5 stars is because it’s outdated, one ice machine and it takes to long to get around the building with bags during winter months. Otherwise very convenient and also easy to get to the main road or interstate."
