"Quiet room, with a spacious bathroom. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic as we stayed during a very cold, snowy long weekend. Very easy walking to restaurants, cafes, sightseeing. The bar is a lovely place for a sophisticated but relaxing cocktail session. The decor is a little dated but the room was spotlessly clean. The main criticism was that we stayed during a busy conference, and the mess and stench of food delivery rubbish remained in the hallways for very extended periods of time."

"Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz offers the best value to anyone visiting Berlin as a tourist. It's located in an extremely convenient spot with a subway station entrance within a 2-3 minute walk. We had absolutely zero issues and inconvenience getting to the hotel from Berlin Brandenburg Airport when we came to Germany and on our way back. Do not waste money on Uber / Taxicab - public transport in Germany is super clean, safe and convenient. Most major landmarks are within walking distance - we really enjoyed walking to the Museum Island, Brandenburg Gates and Bundestag. There is a nice little mall located 300 meters away (4 minute walk) which has plenty of dining options to explore. You can also buy some snacks and water there if you wish. It became our favorite during a week-long stay. Hotel rooms are super clean and well maintained. Hotel staff is super polite and helpful. The breakfast was worth every penny and is the best hotel breakfast I've seen. This place is a jewel. Will recommend it to all my friends and will stay there myself."
