"The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."

"This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it."

"We had a relaxing Christmas break, it was a very spacious apartment for 5 adults. The apartment was tastefully decorated and was exactly as described. The kitchen was a great size for cooking Xmas dinner, and it was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, baking trays etc. The huge fridge freezer was brilliant for catering over the Christmas period. "We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Bryn Melyn apartment. It's walking distance to the town centre (although it's a bit hilly.) The room is sparklingly clean, cozy and spacious, and has a stunning view. Barmouth is lovely town and has lots of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended."

"Lovely apartment in a great location right next to the shops and beach. Easy check in, thanks to Vic and Mary. Barmouth is a great place to stay with plenty of places to eat. Would recommend the Mermaid chip shop next door to the apartment and the Royal is a great pub to visit. The slate mines at Llanfair are well worth a visit as is Porthmadog by train. I would definately recommend this apartment"

"Enjoyed our stay in this house right by the sea. Everything in the house was clean and worked well, especially the powerful shower with instant hot water. Looking out from the living room to a view of just the sea was a special treat, as was huddling round the stone chiminea in the garden burning wood collected from the sea shore. Unforgettable!"

"Ty Golchi is absolutely perfect. It's finished and furnished to such a high standard, everything there really has been thoughtfully curated. Its a perfect base for exploring and the log fire really does make it the perfect relaxing night in. Will definitely be back."
