"I stayed at Southern Palms Resort in Diani for two nights, and while the property is stunning with one of the most beautiful swimming pools I’ve seen, my overall experience was mixed. The resort has a relaxing vibe, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few things that really affected my stay. First, there was no internet the entire time, and every time we asked about it, we were told it was being fixed—but nothing changed. It felt like we were being misled...

"We had a wonderful time! The cottage is close to the pool, a short walk to the beach, and a short Tuk Tuk ride to some great local restaurants and an ample supermarket! It was everything I anticipated! The bed was super comfy, and nice to have air conditioning overnight! Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and pans etc. Everyone on the little compound were so helpful, and offered additional support, advice and recommendations! I look forward to returning! "
