"Beautiful property. Our room felt like we were near the canopy of the rain forest. Private and just natural - felt like glamping. The room was very comfortable and with modern amenities yet tucked in a rainforest. Would definitely recommend ( note: they have different levels of accommodations so please check). "

"This charming historic hotel on the main 6 highway was an enjoyable stay for one night. One had to eat there as there were no other restaurants nearby, but the dinner was excellent and the restaurant/bar area pleasant. The continental breakfast was adequate. However as they had kept the 1876 hotel in keeping with the age of the property the furniture in the room was old and bulky and hence used up a great deal of available space in the room. There was a TV but it was very small."

"This is an old hotel. Staying there, you are going a generation back in time, perhaps reflecting Haast itself. The hotel, however, is very clean. The staff is super friendly. The hotel hosts a restaurant, where locals seem to like to hang out. The food and beer are good, the atmosphere is chilled, and there is a pool table!!Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it! "
