"The Hilton Lake Taupo was a great hotel for us during our time in Taupo. They graciously accommodated us with a last-minute booking that rescued us from staying in a different hotel we had booked which ended up being bug-infested. "The hotel is in a really beautiful location and our room / balcony had amazing views over Lake Taupo.The room was clean and had all the amenities. The hotel is pretty old and the carpets in the corridors, the pool and the sauna could do with a refresh. Checking in and out was without a hassle and everybody working there had a smile on their face."
