DAKU ISLAND in SIARGAO, Philippines is one of the stops on the islands tour which includes the islands of GUYAM, NAKED and DAKU and is usually the last and furthest stop although still only about 20 mins by boat from the dock in General Luna. There are various tour operators and hotels that provide tours but it is also possible to just turn up at the dock and get a local boatman to take you for P1500 (£21.42) which saves planning ahead and also gives you the option of changing the island order to avoid bad weather or crowds for example.

"The pictures posted at Hotels.com is totally different from the real or actual picture of the resort. The bridge is collapsed, no water in the swimming pool, no power or electricity, no backup power, limited food, rooms not well maintained, rooms not safe, jacuzzi is rusted, overall rate: worst hotel or resort. "This was one of the best resorts/hotels I have ever stayed at. 10 rooms only, and everything you can request, wish, dream of is all included in the price. You are treated like the most important people in the world, and the whole time feel like you have this paradise to yourself. Everything they do is done with quality and passion. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. I can't wait to go back. "
