You pretty much have everything you need on the resort, but we had a great time exploring other parts of the island. We were able to arrange taxis directly thru the hotel to get us to dinners and excursions. So glad we chose The Buccaneer for our vacation!"

"Here's the deal with the Carambola in the opinion from someone who has been coming there for over a decade. It was once a stunning eco resort covered with tropical plants and beautiful 'bungalows' nestled into a secluded tropical cove. Then came the hurricanes and FEMA and lack of infrastructure support and hence all the very poor reviews over the past few years. Apparently the resort has new owners who have begun to make investments in upkeep and the place appears to be on its way back. A few...
