We were regretting staying only for one night, the staff was very friendly, helpful, full of positive attitude, there was a lot of laughter. The buffet breakfast is amazing and probably the best we have had after traveling virtually across the globe. Whenever we come back, we will stay at Aalerhüs."

"The hotel birke is a beautiful hotel in many ways, absolutely 5 star reception area, bar and restaurant. Beautiful furnishings, service and lovely and cosy in the winter with open fire in these shared areas. I had a cosy garret room which was lovely in a lot of ways except for the carpet, which was really very very stained with drops and brown marks, it really needs replacing or a thorough steam clean and was off putting, i did not want to walk on it as it did not feel clean the sheets and...

"Yummy breakfast, nice service personal. Unfortunately our room was in a condition of needing a lot of maintenance. Open wires, holes in the wall, damaged toilet seat, damaged windows and also leftovers from former guests. We got the last room and it was a last minute emergency booking, since our other appartment that we have booked disappeared. Nevertheless to many issues for that price. Make sure not to get this appartment."
