Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. She showed me my booking that she had printed out with BIG BLACK BOLD letters across the top confirming the room my type. So I am unsure how such an 'error' may have occurred. Anyway, I am usually flexible and understanding, so when she told me that she had one room left, I asked...

"Very basic but value for money. The place was nice, clean and quiet. Easy access to main roads for the motorized traveller. I would book this place again."

"Schönes, modern eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Küchenzeile und Sitzecke. Wo man z.B. auch das Frühstück essen kann, wenn man wie wir mit Hund reist. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig, lecker und umfangreich und wurde sogar ans Zimmer gebracht. Die Zimmerausstattung war sehr zufriedenstellend."

"Booked this as it was different and was a bit of fun. No headroom for the bunk bed at all, and it was an ‘experience’. The setting is lovely, the hotel grounds are very nice and the owner was very helpful and I would not hesitate to stay in the hotel again in a nice room with a view , but not in the barrel again. "This property was listed as a guesthouse with one bedroom over a bakery in town. Then we were given instructions to go somewhere else in the the middle of know where. It was a hostel that only provides one room and bathroom. The kitchen and refrigerator were shared among all the guests. The room was filled with spiders everywhere. It didn’t appear dusted. Spider webs were hanging from the ceiling and tv and door ways. No where to walk to a store or restaurant. "
