"During my stay at La Playa Orient Bay in St Martin, I was impressed by the great service and the spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Though the ocean view is more of a partial view, it's still a delight to wake up to the soothing sound of waves each morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff at the reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming. One minor hassle was the beach towels policy, as you can't change them during the day if they get dirty. However, I do appreciate their effort towards minimizing environmental impact. The breakfast could use an upgrade; it’s not bad if you're staying for a few days, but the lack of variety may become monotonous if you're here for an extended period. The beach itself is stunning and the on-site restaurant offers delightful meals. The hotel's surrounding area is amazing too, with plenty of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Overall, La Playa Orient Bay is a great choice for a relaxing stay in St Martin, despite a few minor inconveniences."

"The property is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The only restaurant/bar at the facility is opened for all 3 meals at a specific time but the bar is always open. You can get a good dinner for a rational price. Breakfast was pretty good not included."

Virgil, one of the resort managers, was very professional and friendly, he greeted us, gave us a tour of the resort, and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable. "Wonderful experience at Orient Beach Hotel in Saint Martin. We stayed 5 nights in January/2025. Check in/out and all interactions at the reception desk were very pleasant and professional. Loved our spacious ground floor room that had a covered patio that allowed us to walk out directly to the beach!! It offered a very comfortable king size bed, large screen TV with Direct TV channels, nice sized kitchenette with table and beautiful/modern bathroom. Guests have free access to second and third row of beach chairs/umbrellas with beach staff being very friendly and attentive to requests for food/drinks. The included continental breakfast is offered steps from the beach. I wish it included eggs, bacon and some Gluten Free options. You pay extra for those requests. Majority of staff spoke English and were very friendly! We loved our stay and booked a full week in 2026! "
