"The staff were flexible, helpful and friendly. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little tired and probably no longer 4* and the Blue pool in the picture was sadly empty and abandoned. There was however an indoor pool. We had two evening meals which were varied and regional. "

"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again...

"The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us...

"Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Gorgeous pools. Must be great when it’s hot. Liked the jazz music - a good fit. Food was good but a little repetitive. I longed for insalatas but none were ever served. It’s an Agriturismo - Salades from the garden."

"They don’t speak English so if you can’t speak Italian you cannot communicate. The television was only in Italian and when I was able to ask for help with a translate app they spent a half an hour trying to make it convert only to tell me that they only subscribe to Italian stations. The shower was so small that it was almost impossible to get through the shower doors without squeezing and pushing. I could go on but why"
