"Loved the property"

"An excellent property. Stunning architecture & grounds. Truly family run. Very hospitable, welcoming & accommodating. We stayed for close proximity to Mr Etna & wineries. The food is farm to table - mostly made by ‘mama’. Gorgeous pool. Our only complaint is we should have booked longer. Many thanks to Sara & family. "

"The property was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was beautiful. The beach is a five minute walk from property - small and rocky but nice. A taxi to the center of town is 15 euros and about a 5 minute drive, or a 30 minute walk. The staff was extremely helpful over What'sApp - gave us recommendations, helped us with taxis, and answered any and all questions we had. I would highly recommend Residence Magarà and Cefalu in general"

"Photos are not super accurate. It has an RV park area, a camping area as well as the units. The unit itself had a small kitchen which would have been nice if we were there long, a bedroom with 3 twin beds and when you walk in, that also was a bedroom with a double (really 2 twins together with a sheet over them). The bathroom was ok - not super clean (ants on the floor) and the shower drain did no such thing. We used all the towels to soak up the flooded floor because there is nothing in the...

"The staff at Suite d’auttore were so nice and helpful and pleasure to interact with. They recommended a fantastic restaurant (also very friendly) and showed me everywhere I should go in the city. The location could not be more central. I recommend giving them a call beforehand on where to park (very close) and the best way to arrive. "

"Nice location in the Nebrodi Mountains.The room was not as advertised- it said the room was 40 sq. m. but was closer to 8 sq. m.The hotel was OK but requires more regular cleaning-lots of dead flies and dust.The breakfast was very basic."

"Very mixed experience. The hotel is centrally placed for Piazza Armerina. Clearly much money has been spent on the inside but it is at best a 2*. Had difficulty raising reception on arrival. Eventually a chamber maid arrived to do this. There was no room cleaning. Had to ask twice for toilet paper. No bathroom cleaning. No bed making. Breakfast was truly laughable. "My husband and I thought that the best way to describe this place was to compare it to "fawlty towers" with the grumpy owner that really wished he was not in hotel business and the lady serving breakfast wished she was somewhere else and would not bother talking with us in italian. For the breakfast i had to ring the bell and wake up the owner for him to open doors. He showed up with a shirt and what might have been his underwear. We were never able to access the swimming pool.
