"We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. "

"We had a little trouble with language when booking in, but further than that it was great. Just when you think you are lost you turn into the vineyard with the biggest house I have been in. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom stunning. Breakfast included a yogurt and lots of baked goods with juice and coffee. I would just suggest some music in the dining area. The staff are very friendly and the owner invited us to walk through the...
