"This place was large and the setup of the rooms were perfect. The rooftop patio was a great place to hang out any time of day. The neighborhood is rather quiet, although there was a bit of construction going on when we visited. Not too disturbing though. "The heated infinity pool is definitely one of the reasons we picked this place. We could also see the sea from every room of our apartment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The way that they walked us through the apartment and property showed their passion for the job. "The house has amazing views. Close to the beach and 3 restaurants. We took a wonderful 6 hour boat tour of the coast. Listing says on site parking that isn’t accurate. You park in a lot at the top for 30 euros per day. "

"The villa easily has room for 4 couples. There is a full kitchen and a kitchenette (grocery store is a short bus ride away, fresh bread every morning) 2 bathrooms. There is also a shaded patio, a grotto with a hot tub. The bus to Amalfi is very close to the villa. Several restaurants within walking distance (stairs) and offering delivery. This property is NOT accessible.- be prepared for lots of steps."

Margherita, the host, is in her mid-80s and is the founder of the linked Hotel Margherita. She is a fabulous lady and a lesson to everyone about how to live well and enjoy life in our older years. "We had a rental car and there were some communication problems just with the language barrier. Stopping to unload luggage anywhere in Positano is stressful and so is parking"
