"It was a property where we could truly experience the renowned reputation of Banyan Tree, and the accommodation we stayed in satisfied every member of our family. One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. However, on the day of our visit, only a fixed menu was served. I wasn’t aware that this had changed....

"The rooms are a bit dated and internet is fair to good. There is plenty to do nearby and the hotel provides a shuttle (at discounted price) to nearby Patong mall. The hotel and surrounding area had a party atmosphere. The hotel does a v. good job of accommodating guests needs. Our room was damp and the hotel was able to change us to another room. The pools were nice and the children enjoyed the water slide. The resort also tries hard to put reasonably priced extra activities together for young...
