"Despite hotel providing ear plugs, could still hear noise coming from the main road. Bed quilt was smelly and waited about 1/2 hour to replace. Rain shower was good but can see soap scum on glass and surrounding. Brekkie was good but considering paying top price for the 2 rooms, there are better options elsewhere."

"The property is older and has mould and bugs which are hard to ignore. We liked having the fridge, kettle and large space but the fridge was not cleaned well and I feared setting things down on the bottom. "We stayed for 3 nights and loved this hotel. Reviews suggest it is run down and tired. This was not our experience at all. My only issues were pre arrival. It was not clear at all how to get to the hotel. Cable car? This hotel is actually in the mid hills and you do not need a cable car to get here.
