"This hotel is very good for the price. It is greatly located across the road from the train station and the bus station making it easy to get around Hakodate. The only bad point were there was thick layers of dust on the doors and walls of the room and also they have an internal heating/cooling system and due to the cooler weather it was set to heating, but making the rooms extremely hot. "Hotel is clean, if a bit dated, and is in a good location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from the morning market. The breakfast buffet is FABULOUS, the best I have ever seen! Seafood galore, lots of other protein choices (eggs, beef, chicken etc.), salads, sweets, rice dishes - on and on. Lots of choices and all highest quality. "You must really like Onsen for your stay here. Dining options are many and excellent. Easy and walkable to nearby tourist sites eg Hell's Valley, Bear country etc. "

"Overall, this place was accessible, easy enough to find with a parking garage BEHIND the hotel. Note this if you are driving as otherwise you will need to circle the block to get to parking. The only reason for 1 star off is that we could not get the AC to work in our room despite using translation and thus the room was constantly stuffy. "

"The hotel is adjacent to the JR Hakodate train station and the bus stops are in front of the hotel. The tram stop is close by. Walkable to the Bay Area attractions, close to water front. The morning market is just 1-2 minutes walk, the red brick house warehouse is about 10 minutes walk. Easy access to other major attractions. Staff members were friendly. "I was so pleasantly surprised by what was offered. I booked an overnight stay on my way to Sapporo. I had no experience with this chain and expected an average service/facility. "We loved the Onsen experience at the hotel! We experienced the ryokan setup at the hotel and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of variety. The outside Onsen has nice view. "
