"Excellent hotel on the waterfront. Excellent restaurant. really nice staff. The waterfront (sea view) rooms are a bit noisy due to the road however not all night. "

"Fantastic stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Orkney. My room was beautiful with everything you could need. My bathroom was fantastic with a bath and a great walk in double shower with rain shower. The food is fantastic and I would highly recommend eating here even if you aren’t a guest. All in all a fantastic stay and hopefully I will be back soon"

"The island and cottage were exactly what we needed. There was peace and quiet, which allowed us to slow down and breathe. The local residents we met were friendly and welcoming. The island needs a little investment but we really hope mass tourism doesn't ruin its tranquility."
