"Basic hotel. The staff are excellent and attentive. The ceilings in the corridors are low. The mandatory exit signs are low in the corridors, with sharp edges. If you are over 5'10", you will bump your head on these signs. Rooms are larger than I thought they would be. Quite happy with the room, thank you. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Ryokan Kurashiki. The food was delicious and building beautiful, and we had a lovely private bath experience. The staff was extremely helpful and nice."

"Given a name like “Dormy” was not sire what to expect. This hotel had a lot of “extras” included, like the onsen bath, bot indoor and outside versions. Free ramen after 9:30, free icecream and massage chairs on the 9th floor. It was very close to the main historic part of Kurashiki, literally across the street. The rooms were a little small, bit the bed was comfortable. Also had laundry seevicrw for guests. "
