"Alongside the A1 but you would never know, so quiet. Convenient back road into Bamburgh and loveky view across farmland. Breakfast was excellent cereals, fruit juice, toast and jams. 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash browns and choice of how your eggs cooked. Also ate in the restaurant and cafe both excellent. Room was clean, tea coffee and good shower. Stayed four nights, couldn't fault it. Staff really nice. "

"Brilliant hotel, unfortunately the food let it down. We had an evening meal wigh over cooked mixed grill and cold and the breakfast came cold. Definitely not worth eating here. Which is a huge shame as the hotel rooms are fantastic."

"The hotel seems a little underfunded. All of the staff are both helpful and pleasant. However, the bar was never open during our stay and reception was not always manned. Yes, tea and coffee in the room, standard teabags and Nescafe sachets, perhaps a little biscuit or real milk would have been more pleasant. Or perhaps not screwing the soap to the wall like a Travelodge would have given a better impression. Breakfast was very pleasant but don't be looking for hygiene as there were no tongs for...
