"If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced."

"We had a lovely stay. Nice views over the fields. Kitchen well equipped with tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Luxury feel. Enjoyed the hot tub which was warm and ready for us arriving. Would recommend this place and I think we’ll be back."

"Me and my wife stayed over for 2 nights and honestly could not fault the place, nice touch with the bottle of bubbly and chocolate and the hot tub was awesome "

"5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Our stay was good ,couple of issues one of which was the WiFi /internet that went all day until late at night so couldn’t watch the television and then the following day the power went most of the day this was on the whole site so was inconvenient . Overall I would recommend this "

"First time using this kind of accommodation so wasnt sure what to expect. Lovely. Warm, quirky, clean, and just our cup of tea haha. Lovely touch with the chocolate and the fizz. Hot tub a nice touch amd thankfully with a beautiful day that we had perfect for stargazing. Managing to see a few shooting stars and satellites. Not alot to complain about really. "This was our first time ever staying in a shepherd's hut, and what a hit it was! The hut was located perfectly on the farm's land, there were other huts but we had enough privacy from the other visitors when sitting outside our hut. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a very small problem with the drainage, but that was very quickly sorted out by the very friendly owners (which were also lovely to chat too and had such sweet dogs who sometimes...

"Myself, husband and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foxglove. Great facilities and a fabulous location. We were lucky with the weather so barbequed and sat out with a fire. Stunning coast only a few miles away gave us lots of amazing walks."

"Stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave Loved the dogs especially Tinker and Scruffy they made our little holiday"

"Easy to find. Absolutely everything you could need already there, E.g. tea, sugar, coffee, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, washing up liquid. Plenty of cleaning products for you to use if needed. Towels and bedding. Spa was lovely and hot. Good parking, nothing on site as such but that’s not why we went. Good location for Alnwick, Morpeth and Amble, although pulling out onto the A1 was tricky at times! All in all an enjoyable stay!"

"Value for money. Yes it’s on the A1 but don’t let that bother you. Inside you can’t hear a thing and all bedrooms are on the opposite side and overlooking the fields to Banburgh Castle and the frame isles lighthouse. The property is in a convenient position to get to many places. Such as the Castle, Holy island, Seahouses and Berwick on Tweed. Good is excellent and the staff are great and friendly. Thanks "

The Amble Inn - The Inn Collection Group

"Nice and clean hotel. Perfect location and walking distance into amble. Decent food when we ate in the hotel on sat night although a few items had run out. Breakfast was buffet style but decent choice. Great place to stay if you have a dog with ground floor rooms with outside access.Mattress very hard but would stay again."
