"This is a beautifully adapted Tudor Manor House into a first-rate hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful to view and the private chapel is an added delight to visit. Staff were helpful and the food was very good both for breakfast and dinner. I was disappointed that I could not get wifi in my bedroom which was a problem as I had work to complete in the evening. I managed well once downstairs in the Tudor Hall. I knew there was no lift but the second floor required four flights...

"I booked a last minute stay for one night for my mother, son and myself. Communications were excellent before arrival, parking in hotel car park was easy and check in was efficient. As it is a listed building there is no lift which was an issue for my mum who struggles with stairs ( we were on top floor) but for myself and son, it was fine. We stayed in room 52 in the main original building. It was huge, nicely decorated, a newly renovated white marble effect bathroom and a separate...

"Lovely lovely getaway with a beautiful view very tranquil, we came for Valentine’s Day and had the lodge room. Would defo visit again, staff were very attentive and polite. Very relaxing break, lucky there’s an onsite restaurant because it’s located in the woods but that was the whole idea of the getaway to escape the fast life. Room was very very clean and smelt amazing. Overall, I would give it a 8.5/10, an on site convenience store would be great."

"It was great, when me and my dad first got there a lady who was dealing with a customer before, said she would be with us soon. Then a Chinese lady who's name I forgot to get came with a smile and greeted us. She was very professional, informative and friendly, was a pleasure to be served by her. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. Love the fact that the door to get into the showerroom can also separate the toilet from the sink & shower for extra privacy if needed. Only thing about the room...
