"This accommodation is basic. The kitchen woul be more useful with better utensils eg a sharp knife, veg peeler, chopping board. The beds were very comfortable with ample bedding and the bathroom and toilet were fine. The WiFi was hopeless. There is ample parking near each apartment. We had a very pleasant stay."

Slightly off the beaten track which is a benefit in itself, so quiet and amazing stars at night. Andre booked us a table at a local restaurant and that was excellent as well. "This property is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. From the demi-moat, to the gazebo, to the gardens, to the grand stairway and high ceilings, this place comes straight out of a fairytale. AND although it is off the beaten path with views of green rolling hills, it is ALSO within 20 mins walking distance of downtown Bayeux. Will absolutely visit again. "

"Alexandre, our host at the Chateau, was simply wonderful. There are only a few rooms, so it was a very special stay, and the rooms are beautiful and large. The experience he provides is staying in a private home, with a formal living room, a dining room for breakfast, and a sitting room for relaxing.
