"Top notch! We arrived outside and not 1 but 2 concierge came running out to our taxi to take our bags! We do short breaks with luggage consisting of a backpack but they still insisted. Our room was beautiful and the sunken bath was fab but I only noticed it late on in our stay. Everything was perfect. "Exceptional property. Very thoughtful attention in the rooms including chocolates on the night stand every night. the housekeeping was also exceptional. Bottles of water was replaced every night. Excellent location. The concierge was very helpful for securing a reservation. Only slight quibble is that they said they were unable to drop us to the airport on Sunday when we were leaving, but their website their was complimentary drop-off to the airport. "The hotel is an excellent condition and the room is in very good shape also. We appreciated the bathtub, and amenity less and less common in hotels these days. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly."

"Nice rooms, but beds did not have a fitted sheet between flat sheet and mattress protector, so you had to sleep in contact with either the mattress protector or the comforter. I asked for a fitted sheet, but none was provided."

Room key is required to keep lights on (and only one was provided for 2 people). Did not use pool or spa. Village is quite nice, location of hotel was good for visitors going to castle, other sites."
