"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. "Location of the Hotel is distinctive as it is near the “Funkturm”. The room was clean, with acknowledgment to eco friendly processes ie towels not changed unless you specifically advise it is required. The staff were courteous and efficient. Would recommend the Hotel for prospective customers."

"Excellent hotel 5 minutes walk from the railway station. I travelled with my dog and they had water and food dishes in the room and gave me some dog treats too. Friendly helpful staff at both check in and out as well as breakfast. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of great options. "

"Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was so good- so much choice. Close to Aldi the tram that takes you into centre. The Turkish restaurant (Istanbul restaurant the 2 local Greek restaurants are really good and decent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the chef was such a good character - always offered us a choice of eggs/checked our breakfast was ok and spoke to us gave great recommendations. Absolutely brilliant for our visit to the Zag arena where we watched a concert and trams are very frequent to and from the hotel stop"
