Excellent experience - We loved this hotel and Luneburg was very nice. We were here to visit our son studying abroad at Leuphana and were reassured that he is in the best place possible for stretching his wings!

Picturesque hotel in a lovely town

Our main reason for booking this hotel was the proximity to Hamburg and it was within walking distance to the train station. It's location on the river was picturesque and it was close to all amenities and restaurants. Parking whilst provided was difficult, as parking garage and parking spots were extremely tight, even for a small car. Rooms were average size, which is understandable for an older building, but the beds were absolutely awful (sagging) and uncomfortable. There was an indoor swimming pool that was beneficial after a day of sighseeing.

Wir haben zwar ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen aber für uns war es eher ein Downgrade. Die Toilette hat durch die Lüftung nach Fett gerochen da sich direkt daneben ein Restaurant befindet. Es war hellhörig und in der Nacht hat scheinbar jemand an das Heizungsrohr gekloppft
