"Lovely building and we had a really excellent dinner - the catering team was changing so they weren't on their new menu yet so what we had was effectively a one-off. Lots of attention from the chap who was taking over the running of the kitchen. We had an automatic email from the property saying we had pre-payed but when we checked out we were told we hadn't. That caused some confusion especially as the man at checkout kept referring to our Expedia booking - I know Hotels.com is part to Expedia...

"What a lovely little place to stay! Was here only for two nights for a wedding nearby but was a perfect for what we needed and for a great value too. Gwladys was great, excellent communication from booking, arrival and a thank you call once we left too. Stayed in one of the house that over looked the lake, was clean and equipped. You can borrow and iron and board from reception and a little cleaning kit of needed. Although not used there is a lovely pool and childrens play area. Bed was very...
