"The Metropole is a beautifully renovated old hotel. We loved our stay here. It was convenient and the staff were so helpful and kind. Our room was well appointed with a huge king size bed! I called the number posted on the door; they said they tried to contact me, but that’s a lie, obviously— I wouldn’t have shown up there if they had. The very rude woman tried to get me to stay in a nearby hotel, but I went there to take a look, and it was filthy.
