"Cosy hotel, friendly, helpful staff, quirky bedroom, location, parking available in a hotel opposite. Restaurant was closed, breakfast was poor for the money, bed sagged in the middle so needed replacing. "

"This is one of the best Paradors I have stayed at. Beautifully appointed, lovely fresh flowers everywhere, including a small greenery in a glass container in the bathroom. Very large and comfortable room. Expansive communal corridors outside the rooms to relax in. Paid parking available and plenty of free street parking. It is next to the Plaza Mayor so right in the centre of things, but very tranquil inside the building and grounds."

"Excellent location and professional service. Room was well decorated, clean and comfortable. The tradeoff of excellent location in Madrid is difficult access. We had to haul with our bags some distance before reaching the hotel. We paid for a superior room but view was mediocre. We don't particularly like the open closed format, but considering all other pluses, it was not a big deal. Overall the experience was excellent. "
