We loved the artwork on display in all the rooms and also the old period furniture. It all had a feeling of life some 100 years ago. The gardens were extensive and so quiet. The slightly wild look added to the atmosphere of exploring a garden from bygone years that had been left to its own devices. Would we return one day? Of course we would."
