"Had an enjoyable stay in the property. Great location close to airport. While not a brand new hotel, it provides everything you need as a base location to see Bali at an affordable price. Service was great. Prices are moderate and it is easy to find things to do plus great local neighborhood, steps to the beach and shopping for those who care to. What's not to like?"

They offer a free shuttle to/from Ubud Centre which we unfortunately were not able to participate in just with other activities that we had on the go, but it is awesome that they offer that since the location is quite far away from the main area. The pool area was clean and well maintained, the spa was luxurious and clean, they really made us feel like we were at home. Free bottles of water and a basket of fruit daily, excellent shower pressure and access to streaming services (with your own login). My only cons to the property was the distance to the town centre and the restaurants (overpriced for the small portions that were given). "

"We had a brilliant 5 day vacation. Resort is amazingly good for families with kids, the pools themselves are huge, clean and well maintained and the slides are great. Lots of kids toys and activities in the pool, as well as an dedicated kids pool bar - absolutely great! Unfortunately, we had a small issue requiring us to see a doctor, the hotel has it's own clinic staffed by a nurse with an on-call doctor available in an hour or two, depending on traffic - very good for us, the experience was as good as it could be under the circumstances. We tried the sauna, gym and cold plunge pool as well as the massages, all were quite good. The breakfast was great, very varied and lots of options for all 6 of us. The poolside restaurant was also good, the portions of food are quite big, sometimes we found the kids meals to be sufficient even for us adults. Lots of Kuta around to explore, the Beachwalk Mall is about 7 min walk away and the Kuta Beach is a just across the road. Will definitely go again, the kids were absolutely thrilled with everything and even us grownups were more than satisfied, even if we didn't go for all the music and Rock parts of the Hard Rock empire."

"My husband and I stayed at Ayung Resort Ubud for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We had booked a Valley Pool Villa, but were kindly upgraded to a Royal Rainforest Villa, which was a lovely surprise. The villa was extremely spacious, making us feel tiny. The swimming pool and gardens were immaculately maintained. We used the outdoor pool daily and spent most of our time at the resort, visiting the restaurant three nights in a row. We also tried the complimentary afternoon tea service twice, which was a nice touch because we never experience that in the U.S. The restaurant server, Gosenadi, told us that the chef, a Ubud native, had won a cooking competition in Singapore. It makes sense because his food was way better than what we normally get from a lot of restaurants in U.S. We mainly tried Balinese cuisine, and my husband enjoyed the barbecue pork ribs recommended by Gosenadi and Adreani. I loved the beetroot salad, and the fresh vegetables, which my husband, who grew up on a farm, also praised. Gosenadi informed us that all produce served at Ayung was locally grown. We used the spa, which was reasonably priced and staffed by professional and kind therapists. After our long flights from Chicago (took two days to get there), we needed a relaxation massage. Our room had excellent WiFi, allowing me to work on my laptop without issues. We loved the staff at Ayung Resort the most; they were always smiling and accommodating. We felt treated like royalty."
