"The pictures do not convey how beautiful this place is. It has been renovated and modernized and was a pleasure to stay at. You need to take a taxi to get here from the train station, but it is well worth the extra drive. Spotlessly clean. The designer did an impeccable job, with every detail taken into account. "The 5 stars is based on the Expedia value and I arrived after dark. With current exchange I paid $46usd for a standard double room. The property has blemishes but it was a tremendous value (even before exchange). My experience was one night and I didn't soak in the public bath. But the residents appeared to enjoy it. I would definitely look at this property again if I'm in Nagahama."
