"This hotel is an oasis in very close proximity to the main train station, which was very convenient for us... But it is also in a pretty awful area full of drug dealers and lurkers as soon as it gets dark (through no fault of the hotel!). These conditions seem to be normal for German train stations, and can't be helped. The service in the hotel was exceptional. They gave us prosecco and beer as welcome drinks! "The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the friendliness of all the staff. From the guy who checked us in on the first day, who was very kind to us and made it easy for us after a long journey, to the person in charge of the buffet in the mornings. We had a problem with the heating and one of the other guys at reception kindly brought up his own heater from his desk. It is a very well communicated hotel, but without a doubt what I would highlight the most is the friendliness of the staff....
