"This is my second time here. Great breakfast buffet! So many options, my family enjoyed a lot. Hotel is a bit old… I need to push super hard to close my room door. I booked a private pool room but the pool doesn’t look clean… Overall the experience was good because of the breakfast but prob wont come back again unless they renovate or have new activities going around."

"Frankly speaking, this Sanya resort is the worst Anantara I've been to. The breakfast was poor, the property is so small, and the only thing remind me that it's an Anantara is the fragrance. But also, comparatively, it's also the cheapest I've been to. So consider the price and value, maybe it's still better than some of the other brands."

"Lovely two day stay at the Villa in Sanya, away from any crowds and a nice beachfront mostly to ourselves. Breakfast was quite good even if dinner on-site was more average, but quite close to downtown Sanya so plenty of local dining options within easy reach. Very pleasant little retreat!"

"Full disclosure: I am a non-Asian American traveling alone in China with limited Chinese skills. When faced with 'issues', I rate the hotel staff by how much they work with me to resolve the problem. Forgetting the taxi ride from hell from the airport, the hotel 'lost' my reservation. The front desk staff's English skills were almost as bad as my Chinese, however, they made every effort, including a couple phone calls to off-duty managers, to find me a room. "The room, bed, pools are all great and very comfortable. Getting to the room was a bit tiring because we had to climb 3 floors by stairs, and from room to the lobby takes some walking distance. Breakfast was ok. "

"Travelled with a big family and we enjoyed the big and spacious rooms that allowed us to stay comfortably. There was only one or two spots under the table that was dirty (we had to shift it to pick an item that fell). There are several types of bathroom. The ones with the bathtub beside the shower has more space and is more comfortable. The water pressure is good! Hotel staff were responsive and fast when we requested for items. Breakfast buffet had a good spread with a nice sea view in the restaurant. We had to take the lift down to level 1 to access a separate lift to the restaurant but we didn’t have to wait long for the lift so no complains about that. There are also several shopping malls nearby with a wide spread of food and shopping options. It is also quite near Qi Lou Old Street. Would come back to stay again if we visit the area. Do take note that if you drive, there are limited parking space. Might need to check with the hotel on that. "
