In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks. This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. "Has a sauna, cold bath, natural bath and hot bath. Staff were excellent, and parking on the opposite side for about 1600 a night. Right in the middle of a very bustling night life. Although, windows on the 10th non smoking floor weee fastened shut and in early March the air on was very hot. Good for some. Fukui is great area though, plenty to go and see in1hr around by car."
