"The place was cute, adequate for 2 people with a kitchenette and washer with drying rack. The owner left some treats and coffee and extra clean linens. The setting is picturesque, close to the coastline park. The biggest issue we had was the staircase is 82 steps up a steep incline, so the description of ground floor was slightly misleading. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with heart or breathing issues. "

"When we rented this apartment we were attracted to the location up in one of Trieste's many hills. Having installed ourselves we found a beautiful apartment overlooking the bay of Muggia, clean, sunny, and very spacious for two (although the apartment is intended for at least four). We were told there is a bus right if front of the apartment. What we didn't expect is that this bus took us downtown in ten to fifteen minutes; the same going back! "We had an amazing time in Strassoldo. One of our favourite short term stays we have had. The unit was spotelessly clean, and had all the conveniences you could think of. The castle of Strassoldo is very interesting to wander around, and the town is centrally located for many daytrips. We loved it!"
