"We were disappointed with our stay. It took some time to gain entry. We were not given wifi code on arrival. When we requested it later it was produced with the wrong code. Further requests were met with "Do you need it tonight. I'm sleeping now". This was at 9.00 pm. We did get the correct code eventually but only one of the vouchers worked. The room was strange. No table and no chair. The toilet/shower was right next to the door on an open plan room. The door to the room's balcony would not...

"I booked based on location and my regular preference of venue being unavailable. I will not book here again. The housekeeping, general attentiveness and facilities leave much to be desired. Check in was an unpleasant experience. No staff ever checked on me throughout my stay or explained any meal options or services. Dirty cups were not even removed from my room for two days. The staff seemed fully focused on their conference guests and completely ignored me as a guest. "

"It was a great experience, the place is inviting, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, check in was simple, they even phoned ahead to check when to expect us and the breakfast was fresh and well prepared. My only issue was with the bed in our room...it was not very comfortable."

"This is a very attractive small property with beautiful rooms and a warm and welcoming staff. It is on a quiet street that is only a short drive from the centre of town, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it without reservation."

"The owner is a scam artist who uses online booking sites such as this to steal money from clients. He is also aggressive, rude and unprofessional. After reading my check-in review of his property he became aggressive and told us to leave the bnb despite having paid until 9. He admitted to having double charged us and attacked us in front of my small children ( 1 and 7 years old). The property is run down, outdated and dirty. I recommend people to stay away from this fraudster. Disgraceful....

"We loved our stay here. We stayed in Sentinel Rm. 4, which was large and comfortable. The views from the lodge are fantastic. We ate breakfast and supper each night at the lodge restaurant and were happy with our meals. Like most visitors here, we were here to hike to the top of Tugela Falls via the chain ladders. The hotel handled the logistics for us--the transport to the trailhead and packed lunch. The next day, we had a massage at the spa located on the property, which was also amazing. "
