"The Roots Hotel was very convenient and comfortable, with a great location. We needed a parking spot, which they provided in an underground garage for a cost of 7 euros per day. We also needed to be near the train station, which was a very short walk from the hotel. And we wanted to be near Faro Airport, which was a short taxi ride away. In addition, there were tons of restaurants within a few blocks from the hotel. So the location was ideal for our stay and the front desk was very friendly. They offered complimentary coffee/cappuccino, etc in a room off the lobby. The room itself had a good separate bathroom with a large shower, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, stove, microwave and dishes/dishwasher. We had no complaints about the room at all. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our visit to Portugal, The Roots would be rated in the top two. I would definitely stay there again!"

Staff were amazing and noticed that one of our party had a Birthday the day of our check in and arranged a lovely surprise of a bottle of Sparkling to be brought to the room. This made an already lovely stay even more special."
