"We had a great time at Chogogo and absolutely loved being able to snorkel right off the property. Honestly, that's the best part of the property! The rooms are super modern and clean. The local staff in the restaurant and bar are super friendly. I've just booked a return trip for two months from now. One disappointment was that when I asked about whether a returning guest discount or code was available, I was told that the hotel offers a 10% discount (promotional code) for guests visiting in 3 months' time. I explained I wanted to return in 2 months' time! The reservations manager at the front desk told me, "Sorry. the discount is only available to guests booking 3 months out." That seems odd! I booked another visit to Chogogo but was disappointed there was absolutely no consideration for an enthusiastic, returning guest. My only other concerns are that the Resort providers no water as a 'welcome' and only 2 Nespresso pods during a 7 night stay! We were also told there would be housekeeping every three days, but during our Saturday to Saturday stay housekeeping cleaned our two-room apartment once. Last, we were initially in 8101 and 8102 on the ground floor. These rooms were sold as "ocean view" but had a view of lush landscaping. We asked to move to a true sea view apartment and the staff moved us to 4101 and 4102. I was very grateful that we were able to move to nicer rooms on our second full day. "

"This was our second time in Bonaire and there was no doubt in my mind, we would stay Harbour Village. There are so many other places we will visit but when we want peace and quiet, this will be it. We came for a milestone birthday, the staff did everything for us, from arranging airport transportation and we say the friendliest face picking us up, Huntley. He was the same gentleman that greeted us last time and he remembered us. He said welcome home. We were greeted again by Sietze and Shainyn, who were and still are incredible host and genuine in their welcome. The rooms are very clean, the entire property for that matter is well kept. I spent a lot of time in the beach, you wouldn’t think there are birds around, the chairs, the hammocks, the beach, everything is always impecable. We wanted to explore so rented a car for the day, we never had to leave to get the car, it was brought to us and picked up at the hotel. Driving in Bonaire was not as bad as I thought it was going to be either. The hotel staff recommended Loc Bay, it’s a must see. The most beautiful place I’ve even seen, we passed the flamingo sanctuary and a few donkeys along the way. For my birthday, hubby arranged for flowers to be sent to our room, they were just gorgeous. We also booked massages, it was also amazing. First time we came to the island and Harbour Village, we just went for walks downtown which was easy and beautiful. We had all our meals at the Balandra, amazing and fresh every single time. "

"The whole property is a real gem. Every facilities has a special touch of decoration. Welcoming staff; pool area is nicely designed. Room was spacious ; well furnished; quality towels and great view of the water channel. The restaurant “The Dock” offers a great menu. Close to airport but you need a car as not much around even if you enjoy walking. Overall, lovely! "
