"Resort Bonaire Review – One-Bedroom Apartment During my recent trip to Bonaire, I stayed at Resort Bonaire in a one-bedroom apartment. Overall, the stay was comfortable and well-suited for a dive-focused trip, though there were a few quirks worth noting. Room & Amenities The apartment featured two twin beds, which could be pushed together to form a king. Since I was traveling with a friend, we opted to separate them for added space and comfort. The room itself was clean and functional, with enough storage for our belongings. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, which included a dishwasher—a great convenience for longer stays. The ability to prepare our own meals was a plus, especially given the limited dining options nearby. One downside, however, was the air conditioning setup. While the bedroom had AC, the living, dining, and kitchen areas did not. This made those spaces noticeably warmer, especially during the day. It would have been nice to have a cooling option for the entire apartment. Dining Option Resort Bonaire offers a single meal each night for a very reasonable price. The catch? You have to get there early because they often sell out. The rotating menu ensures variety, but since there’s only one option per night, it may not suit everyone’s tastes. "Really liked the location and staff. Very clean, with everything we needed to cook in our room. The pool was also very nice, always plenty of seating. However, as Americans, we're accustomed to having things like tissues, hand soap, conditioner, more than one pillow per person, hand towels, and blankets, but after we adjusted we found we were fine without them. I also thought we did something wrong because it was hard to get service at the restaurants, but I think this is mostly a cultural difference. Loved Bonaire and would stay at Chogogo again. Keep in mind that the area near the hotel is not easily walkable (no paved sidewalks)."

"Great resort. Was very quiet and clean. Pools and beach were peaceful and well kept. Mark at the KOLÓ bar was great, Passionfruit martini and Margaritas were perfect. Big thanks to Leonie , she Was a huge help with excursions and restaurant choice. Make sure to make reservations early for restaurants and excursions, seem to fill up fast. "

"This is a very lovely resort. Quiet, beautiful beach, spacious rooms, wonderful spa and staff. The restaurant is a bit pricey but very delicious and convenient. They bring snacks to your beach chair! Good snorkeling right on the private beach. Pools were good for laps. We loved our stay here. "

"We were a group of 12 visiting Bonaire to dive for the week. This home made it easy to settle in and relax. Very clean rooms & comfortable beds. Can’t beat the location. Lots of space to hang out as a group or as couples. Appreciated the wash tub and dive locker to hang all our gear. We even enjoyed a night dive walking directly into water from our beach. Our group had a great experience. "
