What a shock to find out you don't have a hotel rooom in the middle of high season. He said someone should have called us to let us know. We did not get that call. He said we could go across the street to the Captain Hook Hotel for a room, which is owned by the same owner. We went there and they offered us a room for a higher rate than I had booked at the...

"Business trip for 2 nights. Cool little hotel. Rooms are small but well furnished and cozy. It wasn’t a problem per se for me, but there isn’t 24/7 coverage at the front desk. When there was someone in the small lobby, they were most professional and friendly. No complaints about this hotel. "

"Great value for the price. A shuttle from the airport is available 24/7 which came in very helpful because our flight was delayed and we landed after all the car rental counters were closed. There are plenty of nearby restaurants within walking distance. The location is downtown but Fairbanks' downtown is more industrial than I expected. The hotel is clean but they don't clean your room everyday if staying multiple nights. They do have a tiny mini-mart in the lobby for quick breakfast or snacks....
