"Unable to check in at 3 as required. Messed around for over an hour. Given the code for my room and it was already taken. Mine was a large room with a double bed. I was given a substitute small room with single bed that squeaked everytime you moved. Stuff on the side for hot drinks but no kettle or mug. An utter shambles of a place in poor condition "

"The house was spotless and clean you have a front room if you don’t want to sit in your room and a kitchen to cook your own food and washing machine and tumble dryer this was all noticed before I got to my room which was again spotless and warm exactly what you want after being outside the staff are super friendly and are willing to help with anything they can "

The main lampshade was a large 'white' feather arrangement which looked filthy, had cobweb coming off it.The bed was fairly comfortable & bedding was clean. The bathroom was fairly clean although the area between the shower & basin looked dirty. The TV didn't have reception. Unable to rate staff as we saw no-one, entering & leaving via key safe."

"The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space.
