The house is absolutely adorable and the view in the morning is beauitful we woke up with several different types of wildlife in the yard and fields surrounding the house. "We stayed at this cabin bc it was on the river that we wanted to float. Never being on the Elk came with concerns, but everything worked out perfect! We drove 2.5 miles, where we left our vehicle at a TVA Public area, and floated 3.2 miles back to the cabin. On our 2nd day, we were lucky enough to find Bunni's Rideshare (in Winchester I think). I dropped off my wife and our kayaks at Stump Shoals and took the truck back to the cabin where Bunni picked me up to take me back to Stump Shoals. It was a beautiful 10 mile float we did in about 6.5 hours back to the property. There were a couple other cabins on property, but we really hardly noticed others being there. We will be back with more people for sure."
