"We pulled up to this obviously older hotel and were getting pangs of regret. The front desk is littered with post-its and random notes under the glass top. I was met at the door by a happy little dog and my wife began rolling her eyes. A casual front desk atmosphere was clear. Walking past the pool to our room, I noticed it was clean and the water was clear. I did not get the chance to sample it. "Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it. "

"It was a very nice and peaceful property. The four main cottages faced a center are that was well keep. Plenty of seating on the porches and in the center area with nice lighting at night.
