"Awesome place, Jasper was the best host… carried our bags up the many steep flights of stairs! The goodies provided in the fridge were a thoughtful tasty touch. The area is quiet, walkable with many dining options close by. Also the Metro is only 5 minutes away! Highly recommend!"

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Loved my stay here! The host, Angelo, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. The view from the hotel was stunning, and the location is perfect! Close to great shopping, restaurants, and famous landmarks. Highly recommend!"

"Really enjoyed the property and our host Fokko was very attentive. Also Jasmine was so diligent and helpfull. Coffee was provided and had room service every day. Although we enjoyed our stay, take notice that there are a lot stairs (Play room was in the last floor). A plus was that our luggage was managed by Fokko an his staff during check in and out, but going up and down daily could be difficult! Thanks Fokko for being a grate host."

It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay! "

"My adult daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at this property. It was a lovely spot, very clean, bright, and private. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. "Great stay in lovely Jordaan area of Amsterdam. Quiet streets and lovely old area. The room was well appointed and hosts are welcoming and responsive. The church nearby has bells all night which can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper (ear plugs were supplied though!) All in all a lovely stay"

"ElIne, the owner was incredibly good, giving us travel guidance before we arrived and providing us with lots of local advice about the best places to visit and eat. Breakfast was at a local cafe about 150 yards away and was good, bagels with omelette or BLT with coffee and juice ticked the boxes for me or many other bagel options for those with other tastes. "Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Location, location, location. Just a few meters from the Central Station, so you have easy access to local trains to the airport or the windmill region, to international trains and to all metro lines and almost all tram lines. Besides that, it is a clean and modern hotel, with very friendly staff. The breakfast is very good, but a little expensive. The room had a good bed. The room has a good size for one person, but is maybe small for a couple (unless they travel very light). The only problem that I can think of is that the doors of the shower room are in a way that some water invariably goes to the bathroom, even turning the shower to the opposite wall. "
