"We had always walked past this stunning hotel whenever we’d visit Hermanus, promising ourselves we’d treat ourselves one day. Well- we just did- and what a treat it was. "An out of season trip for whale watching. Early in the season so limited success there. Hotel was really clean and comfortable. The honeymoon sweet was lovely. Breakfast choice was nice and the distance from the centre was a 10min walk. The location is very good to the coastal walk. "

"This guesthouse is undoubtedly one of the best beach B&Bs I’ve ever visited. The decor is charming, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Its location is spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. The hosts were incredibly sweet, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding, and the view from the Oyster room was simply unbelievable. A perfect beachside retreat that I highly recommend!"

"A lovely, clean and tidy room with its own private terrace. The owners were very friendly with great tips on where to visit etc. A great location for a coastal walk. We walked into town which was full of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was served outside and was plentiful and delicious. All in all a really lovely stay. "

"Zebra and Eland wild on the property. This was by far my Favorite hotel on our 2 week stay in South Africa from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Most beautiful views and the greatest staff! We ate dinner there and it was Amazing! This is a 5 star hotel! I would definitely stay here again! "

"This is a friendly B&B that are so popular is SA. All rooms have great views of the sea and would offer excellent viewing during the season when whales are in the bay. It is also a nice walk into the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants. The room has traditional decoration which is well maintained and clean. Reason being, that there is no oven and the BBQ area is situated in the centre of other u it’s, so no privacy for anyone and impractical. "The location of the property was beautiful! We watched right whales bask in the water infront of us. Enjoyed a hike on the cliffs overlooking the water. The property was worn and definitely needs updating. Even the pool was not looked after and was loaded with bugs so we didn’t use it. The kitchen and baths need updating.
