"Nothing but good things to say about the Sandman! This is our new favourite place to stay when in Dartmouth/Halifax! Easy, convenient location away from the congestion but a short drive/walk to everything! "

"The rooms had hardwood floors which felt much cleaner than the usual carpet ones. Rooms were spacious. The vintage of the hotel had a nice atmosphere. Parking lot is small and the area around the hotel is a little cramped with other apartments. "

"This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at!! Super clean, liquid hand soap in a dispenser in the bathroom sink, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash all in great dispensers in the shower. Huge shower with shelves. Good space on the bathroom counter for all the stuff. AMAZINGLY comfortable bed! Lots of seating for the great hot breakfast and such a clean and well spaced buffet area for the free breakfast. It was just a great night here and I wish we could have stayed for a week!"
