"A large hotel set in its own grounds. We had a comfortable double room on the ground floor. It was a bright room with a bay window looking out onto the courtyard and across to stables bar. We had breakfast included and it was self service, there was a large choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt. You could help yourself to a continental or full English. "I travelled from Newcastle and stayed here for my birthday - we had only heard of the hotel on the YWP website when booking an experience. The hotel was really nice, really clean and the layout was really nice (like little pods before entering the hotel with little shops, bistros, restaurants etc made it feel like a holiday resort.) The reception was another pod, the staff were really lovely and they had a little essentials shop too which was a really nice touch for toothbrushes and other things...
